Igor also deepened his legal knowledge by working as a Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Criminology and Penal Law at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”, where he assisted professors with legal and scientific research. Furthermore, during his studies, Igor was an active member of the International Law Students Association (ILSA), as well as the Telders and Jessup Moot Court competitions. As a recognition of his excellence in education and active engagement in national and regional conferences, Igor was awarded the Mayor of Odessa Stipend which gave him a free ride to completing his law degree.

Igor recently became a permanent resident of Canada after safely navigating the Express Entry process.  Having learned many aspects of immigration from his own experience Igor developed a deep interest in Canadian Immigration Law and is now working towards completing the requirements to be admitted to the Law Society of Alberta.
